About Our Services
RhythmWORKS Music Therapy specializes in designing music therapy programs for school settings. Our programs have been offered in self contained classrooms, Blended Early Childhood programs, ED/BD programs, Autism specific programs and Cross-Category classrooms. In addition, we’ve developed Creative Music Programs for mainstream students and All School Drum Circles.
Sessions range from 30-60 minutes in length. Our music therapists are available to provide cotreatment services with other school professionals and therapists.

IEP-BASED MUSIC THERAPY SESSIONS
Students may have music therapy added to their IEP when it is deemed necessary for their education. After an initial referral, our board certified music therapists use the Special Education Music Therapy Assessment Process (SEMTAP) in order to determine whether or not a student will qualify for music therapy services. The assessment process must demonstrate that music therapy strategies are necessary to assist the student in participating in their education and reaching their IEP goals.
NON IEP -BASED MUSIC THERAPY SESSIONS
Music therapy can be provided in a school setting as an enrichment service for special education programs. After an initial assessment, our music therapists design sessions to address both therapeutic and academic goals. Our motivating programs use music based experiences to help students reach their full potential.
