Individual Music Therapy Sessions

Working on Functional Goals

RhythmWORKS Music Therapy offers 1-on-1 music therapy sessions for clients in Chicago’s western suburbs. Sessions are typically held in your home; however families may also choose to hold sessions at a school, hospital, or skilled-nursing facility.

After an initial assessment to determine an individual’s strengths, needs and musical interests; music interventions are planned to address determined goal areas. These may be used in conjunction with IEP goals, goals in other therapies, or other areas of need.

We strive to help our clients feel empowered through success based interventions.  Using researched based techniques and a humanistic approach, each session is tailored to meet the strengths and needs of our clients.  Skills are worked on in a fun and supportive environment.

SINGING ON KEY OR PRIOR EXPERIENCE PLAYING AN INSTRUMENT IS NOT REQUIRED!

I would teach children music, physics and philosophy; but most importantly music, for the patterns in music and all the arts are the keys to learning. – Plato
